Course Overview
Advance Diploma in Computer Application (ADCA) is a comprehensive practical programme designed to build advanced digital and workplace skills across office productivity, data management, computerized accounting, web technologies, programming fundamentals, databases and modern AI-assisted workflows.
Where a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) focuses on becoming confident with computers and everyday applications, ADCA goes deeper: advanced MS Office and Excel, Tally and GST workflow concepts, relational databases and MS Access, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP/MySQL fundamentals, Python basics, introductory graphic design and digital marketing, plus AI productivity tools and Codereon for AI-assisted development practice.
Students progress from advanced documentation and spreadsheets into accounting software, databases, basic web applications and integrated business projects — including a small-business digital management style final project. Training is delivered at Stepping Skills in Yamunanagar. Outcomes depend on practice, projects and interviews — this programme does not guarantee jobs, income or placement.

Frequently Asked Questions
View All FAQs →What is an Advance Diploma in Computer Application (ADCA)?
ADCA is a practical classroom programme for advanced computer application skills — covering advanced MS Office and Excel, databases, computerized accounting (including Tally and GST workflow concepts), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP/MySQL fundamentals, Python basics, introductory graphic design and digital marketing, AI productivity tools, Codereon practice and integrated business projects.
What is the difference between DCA and ADCA?
DCA focuses on foundational and intermediate computer confidence: fundamentals, everyday office applications, internet, basic database/accounting/web and workplace computer skills. ADCA is deeper and broader — advanced office/Excel, databases, Tally/GST concepts, HTML/CSS/JS, PHP/MySQL, programming and Python fundamentals, graphic and digital marketing introductions, AI tools and integrated application projects. ADCA is not just a longer paste of DCA content.
Is ADCA suitable for beginners?
Yes, beginners with basic computer literacy can join and build up through the modules. Learners who already know DCA-level foundations may progress faster into advanced Excel, accounting, databases and web modules. Final suitability is confirmed during counselling.
What computer applications are covered?
You work with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, Google Workspace concepts, browsers and email, Tally-style accounting, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Python, Canva, Codereon and AI productivity tools — at ADCA depth rather than specialist full-stack or full graphic-design programme depth.
Will I learn advanced Excel?
Yes. Advanced Excel is a major ADCA module covering formulas, lookups, validation, PivotTables/PivotCharts, charts, data cleaning, basic dashboards and business reporting projects such as sales or expense dashboards.
Does ADCA include Tally and computerized accounting?
Yes. Modules cover accounting fundamentals, computerized accounting workflows, and Tally-style company setup, vouchers, inventory and reports — aimed at practical software use, not as a substitute for a chartered-accountant programme.
Does the course cover GST concepts?
Yes, at a conceptual and practical software level: GST terminology, related accounting entries, invoices and tax-report workflows in accounting software. Examples are illustrative — the course does not provide legal/tax compliance advice or invent current GST rates as guarantees.
Will I learn HTML and CSS?
Yes. Dedicated modules cover HTML5 structure and semantics, plus CSS3 layout, Flexbox/Grid and responsive design basics for building simple websites — not a complete professional web-development diploma on its own.
Will I learn JavaScript?
Yes. JavaScript fundamentals include variables, control flow, functions, arrays/objects, events, DOM basics and form validation. Depth stays introductory within ADCA rather than a full frontend engineering track.
Does ADCA include PHP and MySQL?
Yes. You learn PHP fundamentals and MySQL CRUD/JOIN concepts, then connect them in a basic web application module (forms, sessions, simple admin/data management).
Will I learn Python?
Yes. Python is introduced at a practical beginner level — setup, core syntax, lists/dictionaries, basic file handling and simple automation concepts — not as a full Python developer course.
Does the course include databases?
Yes. You study relational database concepts and build practical applications with MS Access, plus MySQL for web-linked CRUD work.
How is AI used in the course?
AI is taught as a productivity assistant for writing, research, presentations, spreadsheets, light data-analysis concepts and coding help. You practise prompt writing and reviewing AI output. AI does not replace learning fundamentals or guarantee outcomes.
What is Codereon?
Codereon is introduced as an AI-assisted development environment to help create, explain, debug and improve simple HTML/CSS/JS/PHP/SQL code. It supports learning — it is not presented as a replacement for understanding programming fundamentals.
Will I work on practical projects?
Yes. ADCA includes practical assignments and business projects (Word/Excel/Access, accounting workflows, responsive site, PHP/MySQL app, creatives) plus an integrated final project. Exact project set can vary with batch pace — completion of every suggested project is not guaranteed for every learner.
